        As with any peer-reviewed publication, the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics depends on a dedicated group of volunteer reviewers to evaluate the more than 700 manuscripts submitted each year. The Journal uses a double-blind peer review process to evaluate each manuscript on the basis of content, originality, scientific accuracy, clarity, and contribution to the field; from October 2021 through September 2022 more than 1,000 reviewers representing over 15 countries have taken time out of their busy schedules to volunteer and share their expertise on new and revised manuscripts. The Journal expresses its sincere thanks for this impressive contribution to the field of nutrition and dietetics, as well as to the research that fuels future development in the profession.
