      The House of Delegates (HOD) approved the proposed position paper concept Inter-professional Education in Nutrition as an Essential Component of Medical Education in May 2015 and also the proposed position paper concept The Role of the RDN and Nutrition Therapy in the Prevention and Treatment of Pre-Diabetes and Diabetes in June 2014. Both position papers continue under development.
