To secure our future in the current health care environment requires the concerted
efforts of the Academy’s members and leaders alike. Together, we must prove we can
reduce health care costs by improving outcomes. We must increase consumers’ access
to nutrition services, protect the public’s health, promote our members’ expertise,
and create new opportunities for all members. For the coming year, we will be led
in our work by the outstanding individuals who will serve as the Academy’s Board of
