      To evaluate the accuracy of 3 new predictive equations for resting energy expenditure (REE) compared to selected, widely used formulas (Mifflin-St Jeor, Harris Benedict, Owen and IOM) in a diverse study sample using a pooled data set (N=1420 subjects).
