Food safety: Perspectives of ADA experts

      To position ADA members as leaders in providing food- and nutrition-related services and information, ADA must, in the words of one of our six strategic goals, proactively focus on emerging areas of food and nutrition. ADA’s strategic planning process has helped us identify several emerging areas requiring our close attention, one of which is food safety. There is so much for dietetics professionals to know about developments in food safety; and since September is National Food Safety Month, it is the perfect time to look at this crucial topic.
